Dye Returns to His RAM Roots, Haley Celebrates Homecoming with Kaulig Racing

LEXINGTON N.C. (October 29, 2025) – Kaulig Racing announced today two more additions to its 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) roster, as Daniel Dye makes the move to the team’s truck program and former team veteran Justin Haley makes a welcome return under the RAM banner.

Dye, who will complete his first full season in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) with Kaulig Racing in the 2025 season finale at Phoenix Raceway, is eager to return to his RAM roots in 2026, a full-circle moment that connects his past to his racing future.

“Getting to drive for Kaulig Racing in the Truck Series while representing RAM next year is truly special for me,” said 21-year-old Dye. “Some of my earliest memories are going to and from school and baseball practice in my dad’s RAM pickup, and when it came time for me to get my driver’s license, my first vehicle was a RAM 1500. It’s safe to say RAM has always been a part of my life, so I’m proud to be able to represent them.”

Making his return to Kaulig Racing, a team he called home for five seasons, Justin Haley is also set to field one of the team’s five RAM 1500 entries for the 2026 NCTS season.

Haley, who played a pivotal role in Kaulig Racing’s story, drove the team’s No. 11 NXS entry from 2019-2021, earning playoff berths each season and a Championship 4 appearance in 2020. Haley and Kaulig Racing took the next step together when he was named the team’s first full-time NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) driver from 2023-2024. He spent a total of five years with the team and will make his homecoming in 2026 as the team launches its NCTS program with RAM.

“It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to race with Kaulig Racing again,” said Haley. “Matt Kaulig believed in me from a very early point in my career, and we’ve shared a lot of success together. It’s a blessing to be back home with Kaulig and help the team forge their way on this new journey in the Truck Series with RAM. I’m excited to be around people who have believed in me from the start, and that will give me all the tools and resources that we need to win races and compete for championships. This is an opportunity I’m very proud to be a part of; our goal is to build a solid foundation early on and use that to get Matt Kaulig and Kaulig Racing their first NASCAR Championship.”

Both Dye and Haley bring valuable experience and knowledge to Kaulig Racing’s RAM program, and together they strengthen the lineup that will set the stage for the team’s maiden NCTS season in 2026.

● About Nathan: Byrd, 24, began racing go-karts in 2018, just after graduating High School, and he entered his first car race in February 2020.

Since then, the Goodyear, Ariz. native has raced over 30 types of cars in 348 total races at 67 different race tracks, effectively becoming one of the most diverse and interesting race car drivers in the world.

Completing more than 300 races in the first four years of his career, Byrd is no stranger to piloting race cars.

In 2024, the Indianapolis, Ind. resident turned his attention to NASCAR. He successfully made his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut at Portland International Raceway and delivered a respectable 21st-place finish for DGM Racing.

In September 2024, Byrd made his NASCAR CRAFTSMAN® Truck Series debut at Kansas Speedway, earning a respectable 19th-place finish after starting 32nd.

● Nathan Byrd Truck Series Career Stats: Entering Phoenix, Nathan Byrd has 17 career NASCAR CRAFTSMAN® Truck Series starts, carrying a steady average finish of 25.2.

● Calling the Shots: Guiding Alfredo as crew chief of the No. 42 Young’s Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro is longtime crew chief Andrew Abbott.

On Saturday night, he will be crew chief in his 162nd NASCAR Xfinity Series race. In his previous 161 races, he has four top-five and 14 top-10 finishes.

The season’s 33rd race will be his 10th tango at Phoenix Raceway as crew chief in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

PLANO, Texas (Oct. 29, 2025) – It’s Championship 4 weekend for NASCAR’s three national series as the sport returns to the desert and Phoenix Raceway to conclude the 2025 season. The ARCA Menards Series West will join the action in Phoenix, wrapping up its season at the one-mile track. NHRA also heads west to The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the penultimate race of the 2025 season.

NASCAR National Series – NCS/NXS/NCTS

Briscoe, Hamlin vie for title … Joe Gibbs Racing’s (JGR) Chase Briscoe and Denny Hamlin make up half of the Cup Series Championship 4 at Phoenix Raceway this weekend. In his first season with JGR and Toyota, Briscoe makes his first career appearance in the Championship 4 as he looks to bring JGR its sixth Cup Series drivers’ title and the fourth for Toyota. Seeking the same for JGR, Hamlin makes his fifth appearance in the Championship 4 as he also looks to bring home that long-awaited first title.

Bell seeks Phoenix sweep … Christopher Bell returns to Phoenix this weekend looking for a season sweep after his triumph at the one-mile oval back in March. That win, where he led 105 laps on the way to victory, was Bell’s third consecutive victory during his hot streak to begin the 2025 season. Bell also enters this weekend with eight consecutive top-10 finishes, the best streak of such finishes in his career.

JGR aims for owner’s title … Aric Almirola and the No. 19 JGR team have a championship in play in Saturday’s Xfinity Series finale at Phoenix, looking for the series owners’ championship. This is the second consecutive season Almirola will compete for the owners’ title with JGR, having a shot at the championship last season in the No. 20 GR Supra. Almirola also returns to Phoenix looking for a season sweep after claiming victory in March.

Heim, Honeycutt seek maiden titles … In Friday night’s Truck Series finale, Corey Heim and Kaden Honeycuttwill pilot their Toyota Tundra TRD Pros in hopes of winning their first Truck Series drivers’ championship. Heim, the regular season champion and coming off his 11th win of the season, makes his third consecutive appearance in the title race while Honeycutt makes his first appearance in his first full-time Truck Series season.

Toyota seeks fifth straight Trucks win … With Heim’s victory at Martinsville Speedway last weekend, Toyota has now won four consecutive races in the Truck Series, as well as seven of the last eight and 10 of the last 14. Heim has accounted for all but one of those victories, while his TRICON Garage teammate Gio Ruggiero contributed with his victory at Talladega Superspeedway two weeks ago. Additionally, Heim’s victory in Martinsville helped clinch the 14th Truck Series Manufacturers’ championship for Toyota.

NASCAR Regional Series – ARCA Menards Series West

Avedisian, Robusto take on ARCA West finale … Toyota Development Drivers Jade Avedisian and Isabella Robusto will pilot Toyota Camrys in this weekend’s ARCA Menards Series West race at Phoenix Raceway. Avedisian, making her third career ARCA start, will compete with Central Coast Racing, while Robusto will race for RAFA Racing Club. Saturday will be Avedisian’s first start at Phoenix, with Robusto making her third, looking to improve upon her career-best Phoenix finish of sixth in 2024.

NHRA – Top Fuel/Funny Car

Kalitta on verge of Top Fuel title … Heading to the Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Doug Kalitta is within reach of the Top Fuel world championship. The 2023 champion enters the weekend 141 points ahead of Justin Ashley in the Top Fuel point standings, and should he leave Las Vegas with at least a 192-point lead, he will claim his second world title. Kalitta also comes to Las Vegas on a hot streak, with two consecutive race victories at World Wide Technology Raceway and Texas Motorplex.

Toyota looks to continue streaks … After Kalitta’s victory in Texas three weeks ago, Toyota has now won 10 of the last 11 NHRA Top Fuel races, dating back to Steve Torrence’s win at Bristol in June. Additionally, Toyota has made the final round in Top Fuel and/or Funny Car in 15 consecutive NHRA races going back to the first race of the season at Las Vegas in April.

CELEBRATING 60 YEARS SINCE FORD’S FIRST CUP SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP

The Ford Racing program began on Oct. 10, 1901 when Henry Ford won his first and only race, using the publicity from that day to attract investors and eventually start the Ford Motor Company. As part of celebrating its 125-year anniversary, Ford Racing will present a series of stories highlighting key moments. Today’s feature looks back at Ned Jarrett winning Ford’s first NASCAR Cup Series championship in 1965, and how he and his son, Dale, are the only father-son duo to win titles with Ford.

NASCAR is rooted in family values, so when you look at the sport’s storied history, it shouldn’t come as any surprise that some of the most successful drivers share the same last name.

Petty, Wood, Jarrett, Pearson, Allison, Elliott, Waltrip, Earnhardt, Labonte, Wallace, and Busch are some of the names that have dotted the NASCAR landscape through the decades. And while they’ve all won major races and championships, only one father and son duo can say they’ve won a NASCAR Cup Series championship with Ford Racing — Ned and Dale Jarrett.

Ned made manufacturer history when he became the first Ford driver to win a championship in NASCAR’s top division, achieving that milestone in 1965. In addition, he still stands as Ford’s all-time leader for career wins with 43.

“The Pettys are certainly great company to be in. There’s no doubt about that because they’ve been such icons in the sport and so good for the sport over the years,” said Ned about following in the footsteps of Lee and Richard Petty. “For Dale and I to become only the second father-son to win championships is a special feeling to us also. We’re just so thankful for the opportunities that came about to allow us to do that.”

Dale captured his championship in 1999 while driving for Robert Yates Racing and ranks fifth on the all-time Ford win list with 30.

“You think about all the things that have happened in motorsports and in NASCAR racing over the years, and to be part of a select group like that is very rewarding. I was obviously very proud of everything my dad had accomplished. When you go in and kind of follow in what your father did, especially when they were very successful, it can be difficult at times,” said Dale. “I didn’t know if I could drive a race car, but when I got the opportunity to drive it, I thought I could become good enough to one day win races. It’s almost hard to sometimes put it into words, but anytime you can do something for your father, who had done so much for you, I think that makes it even more special.”

Even though the Jarretts won their championships with Ford more than 30 years apart, there were some similarities in how they got there. Despite the fact that Ned won 15 races in 1964, he did not win the championship because his team was not as consistent as it needed to be throughout the season. Likewise, Dale won seven races in 1997, but finished second to Jeff Gordon in the championship chase by a mere 14 points.

Those disappointments, however, helped set the stage for bigger and better things down the road.

“We prepared very well for the 1965 season to try to win the championship,” said Ned, who recently celebrated his 93rd birthday. “We won 13 races and were able to win the championship, but building that consistency in there – 36 top three finishes out of 54 events – that’s two out of every three – and 45 top 10s. We set out to do that and, fortunately, we had a vehicle and the help from Ford that we needed to be able to pull it off.”

When listening to how Dale won his title in 1999 it was like a mirror image of his dad’s.

“If you look back on it, we had 34 points races that year and in 29 of those events we finished in the top 10. That’s pretty amazing,” recalled Dale. “I don’t care what time or what era of racing you’re in, when you can do that and have that type of consistency, that’s what it takes to do it. Plus, we won races, so everything fell into place for us. Between the backing we had from Ford Motor Company and everyone involved, it was just a tremendous season.”

Another honor Dale and Ned share is that both were included on the list of NASCAR’s 50 Greatest Drivers, which came out during NASCAR’s 50th Anniversary celebration in 1998.

“We all like to see our children do well and to do as good or better than we did, and I always felt that Dale did a lot better than me,” said Ned. “He didn’t win as many races or as many championships, but the races that he did win – three Daytona 500s and two Brickyards – and the fact that he won so many on the superspeedways was a surprise to me. He started his career with short track racing and I thought that’s where he would be his best, but it was very special to see him win the races that he did win and to go on and win a championship. To do it in a Ford car was very, very special to us because Ford had been a part of our family for so long.”

How long?

“The first car that I remember my dad having was a 1934 Ford. He had six children. It was a two-door car and he put all six of us and my mother into the car and we’d go to church,” said Ned. “When Ford came out with a tractor he bought one of those and he had a Ford truck that he used on the farm and at the sawmill. Ford is about the only thing that we had as far as vehicles were concerned.”

Dale echoed his dad’s sentiment.

“There’s no doubt we grew up a Ford family. Early on my dad drove some other makes of cars, but my first recollection is about Ford,” he said. “I can actually remember Ford sending a film crew to our house in Camden, SC, to do a little video and I think it became a 25-30 minute feature on my dad, so they were at our house for a few days doing all of this and that’s how Ford got into my mind. I thought it was a special company that wants to come and do this and tell the story of my dad and everything taking place.

“Ford Motor Company has been that for a long time. I was extremely proud that I was able to win my first Cup race in a Ford and win my championship in a Ford. They have been very loyal to me over the years.”

● AM Racing NASCAR Xfinity Series Overview at Phoenix (Ariz.) Raceway: This weekend’s Xfinity Series Championship Race will mark AM Racing’s sixth career NASCAR Xfinity Series appearance at Phoenix (Ariz.) Raceway nestled in Avondale.

In the team’s five previous outings in the desert, their best track performance came in their track debut when Brett Moffitt finished 13th after qualifying his No. 25 AM Technical Solutions Ford Mustang 17th.

Collectively, AM Racing holds an average finish of 20.0 in its NASCAR Xfinity Series efforts at Phoenix Raceway, highlighted by four top-20 results.

Brett Moffitt led the team’s early success at the one-mile oval with finishes of 13th and 15th, while former NASCAR Next driver Dylan Lupton earned a 19th-place result in last November’s season finale.

Earlier this year, Harrison Burton, in just his fourth start with the team, added a 20th-place finish to the organization’s Phoenix résumé.

On intermediate tracks measuring between 1.0 and 2.0 miles, the Statesville, N.C.-based organization has amassed 45 Xfinity Series starts, recording one top-five and eight top-10 finishes, with an average finish of 19.1.

● Martinsville Speedway | IAA and Ritchie Bros. 250 Recap: The NASCAR Xfinity Series returned to the famed Martinsville Speedway, where Harrison Burton and AM Racing were determined to rebound from their early-season misfortune.

During the brief 25-minute practice session at the legendary Virginia short track, Burton showed solid pace, and a series of smart adjustments from crew chief Danny Efland helped the No. 25 Dead On Tools Ford Mustang find additional speed heading into qualifying.

Burton immediately impressed in time trials, turning the fifth-quickest lap on his opening circuit. Looking to improve, he dug deep on his second lap and surged to the top of the leaderboard, setting the fastest time of the session with about a dozen cars remaining to qualify.

The final moments of the nail-biting qualifying round saw several challengers, including Playoff driver Carson Kvapil, come close to knocking Burton from the top spot. But when the dust settled, Burton and AM Racing celebrated their first career pole — both individually and collectively — in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

When the green flag waved, Burton set a strong pace early, leading the first 16 laps before settling comfortably inside the top five through much of Stage 1. Despite varying pit strategies throughout the stage, Burton maintained a steady presence inside the top 10, earning valuable stage points for the team.

Over the course of the event, Burton navigated the tight confines and trademark aggression of short-track racing.

Though his Mustang’s balance wasn’t perfect, he remained a consistent contender inside the top 10. A chaotic overtime restart, however, shuffled the order in the closing laps, leaving Burton to cross the finish line 11th, still marking a substantial improvement from his 24th-place finish at Martinsville in the spring.

Over the final weekend of racing, the No. 25 AM Racing Ford Mustang team will continue to battle for the highest possible finishing position among non-Playoff competitors in the driver championship standings by the conclusion of the Championship 4 race at Phoenix (Ariz.) Raceway on November 1.

● A Memorable Season: The curtain will fall on the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series season Saturday afternoon, and regardless of the outcome, Harrison Burton and the AM Racing team will close the year celebrating a campaign defined by milestones, growth and unity.

Entering the Xfinity Series Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway, Burton and the AM Racing team have compiled an impressive body of work across 32 races — highlighted by one pole, two top-five finishes and 10 top-10s.

One of the team’s breakthrough moments came just last weekend at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway, where Burton captured AM Racing’s first career Xfinity Series pole.

Earlier in the season, he delivered AM Racing’s best-ever Xfinity Series result — a third-place finish in the North Carolina Education Lottery 250 at Rockingham (N.C.) Speedway in April.

Burton also propelled the family-owned team into the NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoffs in just their third full season of competition.

Allgaier is a two-time winner in “The Valley of the Sun” in the NXS, taking the checkered flag in the spring of 2017 and in this event in 2019.

Earlier this year, Allgaier led for a race-high 130 laps at the desert oval before taking the checkered flag in fifth.

Overall, in 30 NXS starts at Phoenix, Allgaier has earned 12 top-fives and 20 top-10s to accompany his two victories.

Connor Zilisch will compete for the NXS Championship Saturday afternoon at Phoenix. Other drivers in the Championship 4 are JRM teammates Allgaier and Kvapil plus Jesse Love from Richard Childress Racing.

The No. 88 WeatherTech team is also competing for the NXS Owner’s Championship at Phoenix. Other teams racing for the prestigious title include the JRM No. 7, Richard Childress Racing (No. 21) and Joe Gibbs Racing (No. 19).

Zilisch will be making his third NXS start at Phoenix this weekend, the most starts at one track in his young career. He scored a fourth-place finish at the 1-mile desert oval in November 2024.

The 2025 season has been remarkably successful for Zilisch. In addition to locking into the Championship 4, Zilisch has 10 victories in 31 starts, including nine wins in the last 17 races. Zilisch owns the record for most wins by a rookie and his four consecutive victories earlier this season tied him for most consecutive victories all-time with Sam Ard and Noah Gragson.

  • Former ARCA Menards Series West champion Derek Kraus (No. 09 Shockwave Marine Suspension Seating Toyota) will make his first series start since 2022 when he finished ninth in the season opener at Phoenix Raceway. Kraus has 10 career series victories and was the 2019 series champion; he will compete as a teammate to David Smith (No. 05 Shockwave Marine Suspension Seating Toyota).
  • Brent Crews (No. 18 Mobil 1 Toyota), who won in March, will be looking to sweep the season at Phoenix Raceway. Crews has victories across the ARCA Menards Series platform in 2025, including four in the ARCA Menards Series, three in the ARCA Menards Series East, and one in the ARCA Menards Series West.
  • ASA STARS National Tour leading rookie Carson Brown (No. 28 J Star Capital Investments / Unifi MI Industrial Chevrolet) will make his first start with ARCA Menards Series championship-winning team Pinnacle Racing Group. Brown made his ARCA Menards Series East debut this season at Five Flags Speedway and finished sixth; he scored his first ASA STARS National Tour win earlier this season at Madison International Speedway.   • Spire Motorsports will field 15-year-old sensation Tristan McKee (No. 77 Spire Chevrolet) in his first ARCA Menards Series West start on Saturday. McKee won in his ARCA Menards Series debut in August at Watkins Glen International, becoming the second-youngest winner in series history at 15 years, 6 days of age.

  • In 25 NASCAR Cup Series starts at Phoenix Raceway, Spire Motorsports has logged one top-15 and three top-20 finishes. Carson Hocevar, driver of the team’s No. 77 Delaware Life Chevrolet ZL1, earned a team-best 15th-place finish in the series’ March 2024 visit to the “Diamond in the Desert.” Spire Motorsports fields the Nos. 7, 71 and 77 Chevrolet ZL1s with Justin Haley, Michael McDowell and Hocevar, respectively.
  • Throughout the month of October, Spire Motorsports is trading its signature “Ascent Yellow” for “Breast Cancer Pink” in celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness month, honoring the incredible strength and resilience of those who have been affected by the life-altering disease. Justin Haley – Driver, No. 7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet ZL1

  • “It’s not so much the track as it is the weekend. It’s the championship weekend. It’s high intensity and high excitement. But for me, it’s the last race of the season and you want to go out with good momentum. I know it sounds silly, but we always talk about, you’re only as good as your last race, and you don’t want to carry your last race into the offseason if it is not a good one. So, finishing off strong is super important for everybody at the shop, the crew, and morale. It’s a grueling season. You get to the end and you don’t want the last couple of races to be that gut shot where you just feel like you’ve lost steam. So, I think finishing strong across the last few weeks is really important as we build momentum going into the 2026 season.”

“It has been a tough season, but I think we learned a lot as a team and I learned a lot as a driver. On and off the track, there were some moments that were not ideal or in any way fun to work through, but we can look back now and say we made it and we’re a stronger team for it. We were so close to a win multiple times this year and it sucks to not have the finishes to show for that, but that just gives us something to strive for as we work through the off season.”

The popular F1 Sprint format will return to Miami Gardens for the third consecutive year, along with Porsche Carrera Cup North America, while McLaren Trophy America will make its Formula 1 debut, giving fans three full days of on-track action.

The 2026 edition of the race — set for May 1-3 — will once again feature Sprint Qualifying on Friday, the F1 Sprint race on Saturday and the Grand Prix on Sunday at the 3.36-mile Miami International Autodrome. Miami will be the only American race to host an F1 Sprint next season, following the record-breaking event this past May. The Saturday fixture set a new viewership record for Formula 1 since the format was introduced in 2021 and featured 18-year-old Kimi Antonelli on P1 of the starting grid — the youngest-ever pole sitter of an F1 race.

Miami will once again offer an action-packed support program, with the Formula 1 debut of McLaren Trophy America. In only its second full season, the one-make championship for the stunning 585PS twin-turbo McLaren Artura Trophy car will feature two 40-minute (plus one lap) races in Miami Gardens. In addition, Porsche Carrera Cup North America returns to the Miami International Autodrome for the third consecutive year, bringing the newly-announced Porsche 911 Cup car (type 992.2), promising faster lap times and competitive racing. Miami continues to open the campus to fans, who will be able to get up close to the action at Motorsports Alley presented by Ticketmaster, where both the McLaren and Porsche support paddocks will be accessible throughout the weekend.

TOP FUEL’S SHAWN LANGDON READY TO BE AGGRESSIVE TO STAY IN TITLE HUNT IN LAS VEGAS

LAS VEGAS (Oct. 28, 2025) – Top Fuel’s Shawn Langdon is headed to The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway for this weekend’s 25th annual Dodge NHRA Nevada Nationals powered by Direct Connection with a singular focus and that’s winning for the fourth time this season.

The past Top Fuel world champion enters the weekend third in points, but knows it will take a near-perfect finish, plus a falter from his Kalitta Motorsports teammate, points leader Doug Kalitta, to win another world championship.

Rather than wish for that, Langdon is focused solely on winning the race, which serves as the fifth of six playoff races in the Countdown to the Championship playoffs. At the very least, a victory this weekend in Las Vegas in his 12,000-horsepower Kalitta Air 25th anniversary dragster would at least keep him in championship contention heading into the finale.

“We have to win the last two races,” Langdon said. “Doug’s been on a pretty good run; when Doug and AJ (crew chief Alan Johnson) get in the zone, they’re very tough to beat. Justin (Ashley) is a great driver, and when his team gets their car going down the track, they’re very tough to beat. We just need to win. We’ll go to Las Vegas, and we have to keep going rounds and hopefully get a couple wins.

“I always seem to drive better when my back’s up against the wall, I feel like I have something to prove and I’m chasing someone down and driving aggressively. I seem like I’m more in my element when I’m out there driving aggressively and knowing exactly what I have to do to win. I feel like sometimes, when I got in the lead in the past, I got a little bit conservative and more of ‘don’t want to make mistakes and just keep status quo.’ I drive better when I drive with intent and aggression.”

Brittany Force (Top Fuel), Austin Prock (Funny Car), Aaron Stanfield (Pro Stock) and Gaige Herrera (Pro Stock Motorcycle) each won the fall race in Las Vegas last year. The will be broadcast on FS1, including eliminations at 5 p.m. ET on Sunday, and is the 19th of 20 races during the 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season.

Kalitta has taken command in the playoffs, advancing to the finals at the first four Countdown to the Championship events. He won in Dallas and has an opportunity to clinch his second world championship this weekend in Vegas, should Justin Ashley and Langdon falter early.

Ashley is currently 141 points back of first, while Landgon is 159 points back. Kalitta needs to hold a 192-point lead or more at the end of the weekend to clinch the world title, something Langdon would like to try and prevent. A win would assure the title race would at least head to Pomona, but it won’t be easy as Langdon will also have to face off with the likes of Tony Stewart, who won in Las Vegas in the spring, reigning world champ Antron Brown, Clay Millican and Force, the defending event winner who is making her final appearance in Las Vegas.

But with Langdon’s teammate in command in the title chase, the veteran is focused only on what he can control.

“For us to have a shot, Doug will have to kind of fall pretty badly at the last couple of races, but at the end of the day, we’re definitely not wishing anything bad on Doug,” Langdon said. “We’re just going to go to Las Vegas to do the best we can and try to have an opportunity in Pomona.

“If we’re not going to win the championship, we want Doug to win. It’s a little bit out of our control at this point because Doug has a pretty good lead. Ideally, we want to have a shot at the championship. If we don’t have that, then finishing one-two is the next-best thing. That would be a really good feat for the team as a whole.”

Funny Car’s Prock, the reigning world champ, is also in prime position following his Dallas win. He’ll head to Vegas with hopes of a second straight title, holding a 112-point lead over Matt Hagan. Others to watch include Jack Beckman, Ron Capps and Daniel Wilkerson.

It’s a two-horse race in Pro Stock, as Dallas Glenn leads KB Titan Racing teammate Greg Anderson by 60 points. The duo has dominated in 2025 and will look to finish strong against a field that features Matt Hartford, Aaron Stanfield and Erica Enders, who has an incredible 10 wins in Las Vegas.

Richard Gadson moved a step closer to his first world title after winning in Dallas. He leads teammate and back-to-back world champ Gaige Herrera by 72 points and Matt Smith by 105 points heading towards the stretch run.

The Dodge NHRA Nevada Nationals powered by Direct Connection will also feature thrilling competition in the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, which includes some of the sport’s top drivers, and the Summit Racing Series ET Finals, where world champions will be crowned. The event also serves as the season finale in the Congruity NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series.

Fans will be invited to the Nitro Alley Stage, which hosts Nitro School, meet and greets, music and more. Vegas race fans can enjoy the special pre-race ceremonies that introduce and celebrate each driver racing for the prestigious Wally on Sunday and includes the fan favorite SealMaster Track Walk. The final can’t-miss experience of any NHRA event is the winner’s circle celebration on Sunday after racing concludes, where fans are invited to congratulate the event winners.
