James Buescher on driving at Darlington Raceway “I am really excited about going to Darlington [Raceway] this weekend.  It is a great track with a rich history.

As a driver, you have to drive the truck differently at each end of the speedway.  Turns 1 and 2 are really fast and you barely have to crack the throttle.  You carry a lot of speed through the center of the corner and down the back straightaway.  Turns 3 and 4, on the other hand, are very technical.  You have to slow the truck way down and it really has to be able to turn in order to get a good run up off.  It is a great track where you can run side-by-side all day long.

“We had a great run there last year, qualifying on the outside of the front row and running inside the top-10 all day.  We are taking my favorite truck [TMS-011] that has had a lot of success and I am expecting more of the same this weekend in Darlington.”
