Roush Fenway Looks to Tame Lady in Black After a solid outing in Richmond last weekend, Roush Fenway will look to continue its good fortunes at a track so trecherous that it carries two distinctive nicknames; Darlington Raceway.
Roush Fenway “Too Tough to Tame” at Darlington Overall Roush Fenway has won 20 times at Darlington (five Cup, 15 Nationwide) and has led over 4,300 laps in NASCAR competition at Darlington . In addition, Roush Fenway has scored 66 top fives, 105 top 10s and 15 poles at the “Lady in Black.”
DarlingtonTop Nationwide Track for Roush Fenway Darlington Raceway is the most successful track in the history of Roush Fenway’s vaunted Nationwide program. The organization’s 15 wins at Darlington are the most for Roush Fenway at any track in any series. In only 58 starts at Darlington , Roush Fenway has collected 32 top fives (second most) and 39 top-10 finishes, while leading 1,762 laps. This weekend Roush Fenway will field three cars in the Nationwide race, with Carl Edwards, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Chris Buescher.

In the Sprint Cup Series at Darlington Roush Fenway has won five times in the Sprint Cup Series at Darlington , while boasting 33 top-five and 63 top-10 finishes. In addition, Roush Fenway has five poles at Darlington , and the company has led 2,582 laps at the track deemed “Too Tough to Tame.” Current Roush Fenway driver Greg Biffle has two Cup wins at Darlington , winning back-to-back in ‘05 and ’06.
Buescher To Fill in Again Chris Buescher will make his second career Nationwide Series start, once again filling in for Trevor Bayne in the No. 16 Ford Mustang in Friday night’s Nationwide Series race. Buescher did a more than admirable job in his NNS debut last weekend in Richmond , leading the Roush Fenway effort with a 17th-place finish. Roush Fenway In the Points Carl Edwards continues to lead the Sprint Cup point standings, improving his lead to nine points with his top-five finish at Richmond . Matt Kenseth is ninth and Greg Biffle moved up two spots to 14th. David Ragan used his season-high top-four finish to move to 19th in the standings. In the Nationwide Series, Ricky Stenhouse is currenlty fifth and Trevor Bayne is seventh, despite missing last week’s race at Richmond .
