CONCORD, N.C. (Oct. 12, 2011) – Roush Fenway Racing will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2012 and those attending the annual Fall Fan Day at Roush Fenway’s corporate headquarters in Concord, N.C., will get a sneak peak at the new commemorative logo.
The organization will roll out a complete plan for the silver anniversary in the coming months, but 25th anniversary memorabilia is being introduced to the public via the official Roush Fenway store for the first time this week. The items will feature the official Roush Fenway 25th anniversary logo, commemorating 25 ‘winning years’ of Roush Fenway Racing in NASCAR’s top divisions.
Jack Roush launched his NASCAR operations from Liberty, N.C. in 1988 and in the subsequent 24 years built the team into one of the most successful franchise in sports history. To date, Roush Fenway Racing has accumulated almost 300 NASCAR wins, spread across 24 years and 14 different drivers, while earning five championships in NASCAR’s top divisions.
