CERRO GORDO, N.C. (April 10, 2012) – Coming off of a top-20 finish at Martinsville two weeks ago, the Ricky Benton Racing (RBR) Enterprises No. 92 BTS Tire and Wheel Distributors/fleetHQ.com/QMI team and driver David Reutimann are ready to tackle the high banks of the Rockingham Speedway for the inaugural Good Sam Roadside Assistance 200 presented by Cheerwine at the venerable one-mile track.

“Rockingham is a great driver’s race track,” said Reutimann, who has two starts at the track in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. “Once the tires wear out, you have to find a fast way around this place. The bottom groove is only good for about 10 laps then you have to find a new line. You will see guys all over the track.

“We have a brand new truck for Rockingham and are excited about racing it this weekend. I am confident we can drive it to the front.”

Reutimann will have to race the truck to the front if the team makes the race. Due to Reutimann’s Sprint Cup commitment at Texas Motor Speedway, ARCA veteran Chad McCumbee will be practicing and qualifying the No. 92. Per NASCAR rules, a driver change between qualifying and the race requires the truck start at the rear of the field.

But team owner Ricky Benton is confident in his team’s ability to work their way to front of the field in 200 laps.

“We are very fortunate to have Chad (McCumbee) on board to practice and qualify the truck,” said Benton. “He has a great deal of experience in a bunch of different cars at Rockingham – he actually raced our Pro Cup car here in the fall – and we are comfortable with the job he will do to get us ready to race on Sunday.

“(Crew chief) Jason (Overstreet) and this team have a great new truck for this race and we are excited about racing at The Rock. We have a great crowd of Black’s Tire and Auto employees and friends coming to the race and we want to give them a good run.”
