Sam Hornish Jr. (No. 22 Shell/Pennzoil Dodge Charger R/T) Qualified 14th “I’m just mad at myself. I don’t feel like I drove it hard enough but even from what it’s changed from practice to qualifying from the end of Nationwide practice it’s picked up so much grip that I feel like I’ve babied it a little bit. I feel like we have a really good car in race trim and that was probably in the back of my head. I didn’t want to go to a backup car or anything like that (smiles). It’s not as good as I wanted to be for sure and thought we had a shot at being in the top-five but at the end of the day it’s not going to be that bad, probably 16th, 18th, somewhere in there, maybe a little bit better than that. I’m just happy to have the opportunity in the Shell/Pennzoil Dodge and I feel like we’ve got a really good race car and that’s what matters.”

Brad Keselowski (No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger R/T) Qualified 20th “It felt all right. It’s just qualifying hasn’t been our strong suit this year. I don’t have an answer why. It seems like when we get the bounce of the car right and it feels fast it’s not and when we don’t get the bounce of the car it’s really not fast. But in the race, the Miller Lite Dodges have been incredible. I’ll take a good race car over a good qualifying car any day of the week and we’ve had that this year.”
