Mike Wallace Quotes: “Before we talk about racing, everyone at JD Motorsports wants to send our thoughts and prayers to those who have been dealing with Superstorm Sandy this week. From what we’ve seen on TV and online, they have a tough road ahead of them and we want them to know they’re in our thoughts.
“We have a tough track ahead of us with how fast Texas is and how tough it is to race. I know they say the 1.5 milers are “cookie cutter” tracks, but each one is different and you have to be ready to make adjustments.
“The night race is going to cause the engines to be a bit faster with the cool air. But, you have to be ready to adapt the car to the changing track conditions. We’ll work on that more in the second practice on Friday. But, I’m looking forward to taking the G&K Services Chevrolet for a good run there in Texas.”
