RAM DRIVER QUOTES “It definitely takes you at least two runs at big, fast tracks like Texas to get fully up to speed and learn what’s fast and what’s not. Hopefully, I can get a hold of it pretty quick. It’s fairly similar to Atlanta and we were decent there. I’ve learned a ton running these mile-and-a-half tracks. They all kind of have similar characteristics – just learning what to do, what’s good and what’s not, how your truck is good in practice and carry that through to the race.” — Ryan Blaney
RAM NUMBERS: TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY

RAM IN THE CAMPING WORLD TRUCK SERIES
• Bobby Hamilton (2004) and Ted Musgrave (2005) won the season championship driving a RAM.
• RAM has captured the manufacturer’s championship three times in the 17-year history of the series – 2001, 2003 and 2004.
• Tony Raines gave RAM its first win in the series in 1997, winning at I-70 Speedway in Odessa, Mo. There have been 66 trips to victory lane since then.
• RAM won 15 of the 24 NCWTS races during the 2001 season, 13 of 25 in 2003 and 11 of 25 in 2004.
• There have been 436 races in the NCWTS beginning at Phoenix International Raceway on Feb. 2, 1995. There were three RAM drivers – Joe Bessey, Bob Keselowski and Walker Evans – in the 33-truck starting field. Bessey finished fourth.
• When the series visited TMS in June, Parker Kligerman drove the No. 29 RAM to a 10th-place finish.
RAM TALK “Texas is so fast that if you have your RAM handling right for qualifying when you’re not in traffic, you can hold it wide open in the race. You have to have a lot of motor, a lot of downforce, and a lot of side force to make all that work. The track is abrasive and the tires go away, so all those things have to be good not just for a lap but for a lot of laps.” — Doug Randolph, Crew Chief, No. 29 Cooper Standard RAM
