(Phoenix) – Phoenix International Raceway and NASCAR fans in attendance at the AdvoCare 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race will celebrate Veterans Day by paying tribute to the generations of men and women who have served or are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces during the pre-race show beginning at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 11.
All drivers from the four series’ racing at PIR throughout the weekend have teamed up in support of Veterans Day weekend and will feature a commemorative decal honoring those who have served.
The AdvoCare 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series pre-race show will feature a Veterans Ceremony honoring past members of each branch of the military.
The spectacular pre-race show will also include:
· Newly unveiled patriotic paint scheme on the Official Grand Marshal Car
· Special tribute video with messages from NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers
· SkyHawks Jumping Team
· Current military members holding flags on the hillside

The AdvoCare 500, the semi-final race in the Chase for the Sprint Cup starts at 1 p.m. and will be televised nationally on ESPN.
