Ryan Blaney (No. 29 Cooper Standard RAM) Finished 28th THAT WAS A HARD HIT. ARE YOU OKAY? “It’s one of the worst hits when you get clipped like that. You don’t think you’re going to get clipped. We struggled a little bit all night and just really couldn’t find speed but I really wish we could have at least finished. I think we could have wrestled a decent finish out of it. It was a bad night but hopefully we can go get ‘em tomorrow. Every time you’re getting turned around into the wall it’s not really a good thing.”
HAVE YOU EVER HIT THE WALL THAT HARD? “I don’t think so. It felt pretty hard. I don’t know how it looked but it felt pretty hard.”
YOU HAD A VICIOUS HIT. WHAT DID YOU SEE IN FRONT OF YOU? “I just saw Kyle (Busch) kind of get loose under the 3 (Ty Dillon). I’m alright, just got clipped there in the right-rear. I thought we were going to miss it and he just came back down the track and got us. It’s one of those unfortunate deals. It stinks when it happens. It’s unfortunate. I really wanted to get a good finish for Cooper Standard in the last race of the year. But we’ll come back next year and we’ll go tomorrow and see if we can get us one.”
