After two weekends off, the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) returns to action this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway, and Kevin Swindell and the No. 98 Biagi-DenBeste Racing team will compete in the O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 on Friday night.

Last Race Recap – Swindell and the No. 98 Biagi-DenBeste Racing team made their 2013 NNS debut at Auto Club Speedway. In his first visit to the track, Swindell finished with the 10th-quickest lap in the lone NNS practice session and qualified 17th. After turning 150 laps at the two-mile oval, Swindell brought his No. 98 Ford Mustang home in 10th.

Texas Motor Speedway – Texas Motor Speedway is a special place for Swindell and his Biagi-DenBeste team as they made their first start together last November at the 1.5-mile track. After qualifying 20th, Swindell went on to record a top-10 finish in his debut in the No. 98 Biagi-DenBeste Ford, finishing ninth.

Kevin on Texas Motor Speedway – “I can’t wait to get back to the racetrack, and I am especially excited to race again at Texas Motor Speedway. I thought our team did a great job working together in California, especially for our first race of the season and my first time at the track. It will be nice to get back to a place I have raced at before, and the team and I look to improve on last year’s ninth-place finish.”

Catch the Race – Live race coverage from Texas Motor Speedway’s O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 will begin on ESPN2 at 7:00 p.m. CDT (8:00 p.m. EDT) on Friday. The race can also be heard live on PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
