ADVANCE NOTES

·       Bayne in Darlington

o   Despite just one run, Bayne is the fourth strongest closer at Darlington.  He gained seven spots during the final 10% of laps during the race.  Bayne is also the fifth fastest driver early in a run (first 25% of laps run since a pit stop).

·       The Car

o   Chassis RK-786 last ran at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS) in March using the World Financial Group paint scheme.  The car qualified second at LVMS and finished fourth.

o   The No. 6 Ford Mustang will feature the Cargill paint scheme this Friday, with a special rear quarter panel devoted to the Blackwell Angus brand.

·       Talladega Recap

o   The No. 6 Cargill Beef Ford Mustang was again one of the fastest cars on the track at Talladega Superspeedway before being caught in an unavoidable wreck, finishing 28th.

QUOTE WORTHY

Bayne on Racing at Darlington:

“We’re looking forward to Darlington.  I’ve only raced there one time in 2010, so it’s one of the least experienced tracks for me.  But I love that style of racing, and I love racing near the top of a race track.  We were good there in 2010 while I was running in the top-10 and I know the No.6 team has been really good there, so I can’t wait to get there and get rolling.”
