·         Reed at Auto Club Speedway

o   Roush Fenway Racing rookie Ryan Reed will make his first NASCAR Nationwide Series start at Auto Club Speedway (ACS) in Saturday’s TreatMyClot.com 300.

·         The Car

o   The No. 16 team brings chassis RK-808 to ACS this weekend.  Saturday’s race marks the first start for this new chassis.

·         Visit the American Diabetes Association’s Drive to Stop DiabetesSM Midway Display

o   Drive to Stop DiabetesSM (D2SD) will host an activation space in the fan midway at ACS. The display area features the No. 16 D2SD racing simulator, diabetes awareness and educational materials as well as various prizes.

o   Reed will appear for a Q&A at the Drive to Stop DiabetesSM display on Saturday, March 22 from 9:20 – 9:35 a.m.

·         Local Connections

o   Reed heads “home” for this weekend’s race, as his hometown of Bakersfield is just over two hours away from ACS.

o   Dan Bormann, Car Chief for the No. 16 American Diabetes Association Drive to Stop DiabetesSM presented by Lilly Diabetes, visits his home state of California.  His home town of Shingle Springs is almost seven hours away from ACS, in Northern California.

·         Recapping Bristol

o   Reed ran in the top-15 for most of the Drive to Stop Diabetes 300 presented by Lilly Diabetes at Bristol Motor Speedway, before a late-race accident relegated the team to 31st.
