History 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway
TIME TO MAKE HISTORY AT THE HISTORY 300: Elliott Sadler and the No. 11 OneMain Financial team head to Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend, where the majority of the NASCAR community calls home. In 14 NASCAR Nationwide Series starts at Charlotte, Sadler won the pole award once, recorded four top-five and five top-10 finishes with 16 laps led. Sadler has also made 25 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series starts at Charlotte with one pole award, one top-five and three top-ten finishes.
JUST THE STATS: Ten races into the 2014 Nationwide Series season, Sadler is currently tied for second place in the Nationwide Series driver champion point standings, two points back from the lead. The Emporia, Va., native has one win, one pole award, five top-five and eight top-10 finishes in 10 of 33 races.
LOOKING IN THE MIRROR: At the May 2013 event at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Sadler qualified in the 20th position and worked his way up through the field for a 13th place finish.

AN AMERICAN SALUTE: Look for a special patriotic-themed paint scheme this week on the No. 11 OneMain Financial Toyota. The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, NASCAR Nationwide Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series teams will each showcase their support this Memorial Day weekend by representing the stars and stripes on their race cars.
RACE INFO: The History 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway will be on ABC at 2:45 p.m. ET, on Saturday, May 24th, as well as PRN and SIRIUSXM 90.
FATHER’S DAY: Sadler will honor his father, Herman Sadler, at Michigan International Speedway by placing his name above the door during the race on June 14th. In addition, Sadler will also reward one of his lucky fans with the opportunity to give a special gift to their father. THINK PINK: The OneMain Financial driver will sport pink Oakley driving shoes throughout the entire Nationwide Series season to show support for breast cancer awareness and honor his mom, Bell. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007, and is now a survivor.
