(Mooresville, NC – July 14, 2014) Following a career best finish of 3rd at Michigan Int’l Speedway, Justin Allison is set to make his Chicagoland Speedway debut for the Ansell ActivArmr 150 on July 19th.
“I’m really excited to get back in the No. 88 HaVACo Ford,” says 22-year-old Justin Allison. “We had a great run at Michigan so I know we’ll have a strong outing come Chicago. I’m hoping to not only keep the top-5 streak going, but finally get that first win out of the way.”
Allison’s 2014 part-time schedule includes all of the FOX Sports 1 televised races. He captured a top-10 finish at Toledo Speedway and then moved on to Pocono Raceway to earn a top-5 finish. He not only had a strong outing during the Pocono race, but also topped the leader boards during testing and qualified the No. 88 HaVACo Ford in 3rd at the “Tricky Triangle.” Allison kept the streak of career best finishes going when he earned a 3rd place finish at Michigan Int’l Speedway in his most recent start.
Allison commented, “I can’t thank Howard Bixman and Team BCR enough for giving me this opportunity to develop my skills in moving forward with my racing career this season. This team has given me some really fast cars this year, which has given me some great finishes. Based on our recent races, I feel really confident going into Chicago. Without the support of my family and our marketing partners this season, this life long dream wouldn’t be a reality.”
Piloting the No. 88 HaVACo Ford Fusion with Associate Marketing Partners Rush Racing Products, Tornado Alley Car Wash and Casite, Allison will be making his 6th debut of the season.
Team Manager, Howard Bixman mentioned, “I’m very impressed with how well Justin is adapting in the ARCA Racing Series. Justin is one of the top up and coming young drivers in this series. He’s had strong finishes in the last three races he has competed in for Team BCR. It won’t be long before he’s in a position to score his first win. Chicago is a very fast and demanding track for drivers, but Justin’s strong drive to be competitive and his raw talent will shine this weekend.”
The Ansell Activ Armr 150 will be broadcasted live on Fox Sports 2 on Saturday, July 19 at 5pm CT. ARCAracing.com will provide live timing and scoring of practice on Friday, July 18 from 3:30-5:20pm CT. Menard’s Pole Qualifying will take place on Saturday, July 19 at 1:30pm CT.
