Harvick To Join Earnhardt In Martinsville Speedway’s Green Flag Experience

MARTINSVILLE, Va. (Aug. 12, 2014) – Kevin Harvick, the winner of two NASCAR Sprint Cup races this season, has been added to the Green Flag Experience prior to the Goody’s® Headache Relief Shot® 500 at Martinsville Speedway on October 26.

Harvick will join Diet Mountain Dew Driver Dale Earnhardt Jr., who has three wins this season, Jamie McMurray and David Ragan in the question-and-answer portion of the Green Flag Experience.

The Green Flag Experience also gives fans the chance to watch driver introductions from the track, along with a morning full of fun and excitement on the track and under the large tent in The Plaza.

In addition to the emceed driver question-and-answer sessions and driver introductions, the Green Flag Experience offers fans the opportunity to walk the frontstretch on race morning, enjoy music, games and prizes along with show cars and simulators, plus doughnuts, Danishes, coffee and juice. The cost of the Green Flag Experience is $30.

“We knew the Green Flag Experience was going to be big, but adding Kevin (Harvick) has just made it even bigger. We have four drivers that all have Sprint Cup wins in the last year,” said Martinsville Speedway President Clay Campbell. “And Dale Jr. and Kevin have five wins between them this year and both are locked in the Chase. What a great lineup of drivers.”

The driver question-and-answer sessions, food, music, games and prizes and show cars and simulators will be held in The Plaza from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. The track will open for fans purchasing the Green Flag Experience at 9:15 and will remain open until the finish of driver introductions. The Plaza is located on the hill behind the souvenir display area.

The $30 charge for the Green Flag Experience does not include a ticket for the Goody’s® Headache Relief Shot® 500.

Ticket prices for the Goody’s® Headache Relief Shot® 500 begin at just $40.

Tickets to the Goody’s® Headache Relief Shot® 500 on October 26, the Kroger 200 on October 25 and the Virginia Lottery Pole Day on October 24 can be purchased by calling 1.877.RACE.TIX. Tickets may also be purchased online at www.martinsvillespeedway.com.
