This Race Last Year

Elliott Sadler’s #1TreewithE Contest
Sadler will bring attention to environmental awareness to the Richmond, VA area this month by launching a special contest for his hometown fans. The ultimate prize is an evening with Sadler at a fan’s house, planting a tree and Sadler will even bring a BBQ dinner. Fans in the Richmond area can enter by sending a message to Sadler’s Twitter handle by writing “Hey @Elliott_Sadler! Come to my house in (Your Town) and plant a tree with me #1TreewithE.” The event will take place on April 23, 2015.
QUOTE WORTHY
“Texas has proven to be one of my best race tracks on the NASCAR circuit. I’ve won at Texas in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series in a Ford and I’ve won two pole awards in the NASCAR XFINITY Series. Texas is a fast track with a ton of tire wear. As a team, we’ve been moving forward in the right direction. Each race we’ve finished better than the previous week. Hopefully the trend continues this Friday night and we’ll be celebrating our first win of the season in victory lane under the lights.”
