Two to Go…Michael Annett and his No. 46 Pilot Flying J team venture west of the Mississippi River for the second consecutive weekend, heading to Phoenix International Raceway for the penultimate race of the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season.

Annett at PIR…In four NASCAR Xfinity Series races on Phoenix’s current track configuration, Annett averaged a 10th-place finish. In his first two Cup Series starts there as a rookie in 2014, he registered results of 34th, despite his throttle return spring coming loose late in the event, and 26th, despite breaking a drive flange late in a race in which he led one lap.

Michael Annett on Phoenix International Raceway:
“I enjoy racing at Phoenix – it’s a track that’s unique and fun to drive. The guys that are really good there are able to pass consistently, even though that’s been tough to do at this place since the reconfiguration. If we can get our car as close to neutral as possible, we’ll be able to negotiate passes a little easier.”
