PREECE BACK FOR THIRD PHOENIX RACE

AVONDALE, Ariz. – Ryan Preece will drive the G&K Services Chevrolet in Saturday’s Ticket Galaxy 200 Xfinity Series race at Phoenix International Raceway.

Preece has run two previous races at the one-mile track – a Sprint Cup event and this spring’s Xfinity race, in which he finished 21st.

“I like the Phoenix track,” Preece said. “We had a pretty good car there in the first race of the year, and I’m looking forward to going back. We want to close out the year strong.”

Preece is 17th in Xfinity driver points entering the race.

Practice at PIR is scheduled at 12:30 and 4:30 p.m. (ET) Friday. Qualifying is set for 4:15 p.m. Saturday, with the race to follow at 7:30.
