Chandler Smith clinched a spot in NASCAR’s Chase following his fourth-place result at the Indianapolis Raceway Park. Smith is third in the regular season standings, 153 points behind leader, and teammate, Layne Riggs.

Smith is a previous winner at the Virginia short track in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series, having captured the checkered flag with Kyle Busch Motorsports in 2022. Smith is also a two-time winner at the track in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, taking back-to-back wins in 2023 with Kaulig Racing and in 2024 with Joe Gibbs Racing.
