Biffle Finishes 17th at Kansas

No. 16 Roush Performance Ford Fusion Recap:
Biffle Finishes 17th at Kansas

KANSAS CITY, K.S. (October 18, 2015) – Greg Biffle qualified his No. 16 Roush Performance Ford 12th for Sunday afternoon’s race from Kansas Speedway.  Biffle had a good handling Ford until an off set of tires caused a vibration and cost him valuable track position, but he was able to rebound to cross the finish line 17th.

Biffle lost a little ground on the opening run due to his Roush Performance Ford handling which was a little too loose on entry.  After a pit stop for a wedge adjustment, his Ford was back where he needed it to be and Biffle was solidly running inside the top 15.

Under caution on lap 66 Biffle received four tires, fuel and no adjustments, but the new tires caused a massive vibration.  Biffle lost ground on the track while struggling to see through the vibration and maneuver his Ford through traffic.

As the race progressed the Roush Performance Ford tightened up and Biffle lost a lap to the leaders as the field cycled through pit stops after a long green flag run.  Multiple cautions in the closing laps led to a green-white-checkered finish but Biffle was never in the “lucky dog” position.  Biffle took the green-white-checkered flag 17th and maintained his position to cross the finish line 17th.
