67th Annual Goody’s Headache Relief Shot 500 at Martinsville Speedway
News and Notes:
Heading into this weekend’s event at Martinsville Speedway, the No.32 CorvetteParts.Net team will travel to the “The Old Dominion State” with Kyle Fowler for the 67th annual Goody’s Headache Relief Shot 500 at Martinsville Speedway in Martinsville, VA. Sunday’s Goody’s 500 will mark Fowler’s 2nd career start at the famous paper clip, and his 2nd career NSCS start. The Smyrna, GA native made his NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Debut (NSCS) debut in 2014 during the Fall Martinsville event for Go Green Racing finishing 28th, after starting 42nd.
Kyle Fowler on Martinsville:
“I’m excited to have the opportunity to get back behind the wheel for Go Green Racing and Keen Parts at Martinsville Speedway this weekend, the track I made my NASCAR Sprint Cup Series debut. Last year I had not even cranked a Sprint Cup car or turned a single lap around Martinsville Speedway in any vehicle prior to the race, so it is nice to come back this year with those 500 laps under my belt. I hope to keep the car clean and get the best finish our small team can! I will also be running a special pink paint scheme and suit in support of breast cancer awareness, which is a cause that hits close to home with my mom fighting breast cancer not so long ago.”
Chassis Info:
Crew Chief Clinton Cram will be bringing chassis GGR-784 to serve as the primary car. Previously, this chassis last ran at Charlotte in October. Chassis GGR-742 will serve as the backup car.
