Leidos to Partner with Roush Fenway Racing and Bubba Wallace

CONCORD, N.C. (August 24, 2016) – Roush Fenway Racing is announcing a multi-race partnership with Leidos, a global science and technology solutions company. As part of its entry into NASCAR, Leidos will serve as a primary partner for NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) driver Bubba Wallace and the No. 6 team.

“We are thrilled to have Leidos on board,” said Wallace who is coming off a seventh-place finish at Bristol. “It’s an awesome company that shares our vision of excellence and dedication to high performance. We are honored to represent a company of its caliber and have them featured on our car as we make what we hope will be a strong run during the Chase.”

Leidos will serve as the primary partner for Wallace in NXS races at Dover (Oct. 1), Charlotte (Oct. 7), Kansas (Oct. 15) and Texas (Nov. 5), as the team looks to make a deep run into the inaugural XFINITY Series Chase for the championship. Wallace is currently ninth in the NXS point standings, with three top-five finishes and seven top 10s.

“Teaming with Roush Fenway Racing and Bubba gives us the opportunity to share the Leidos story with 80 million NASCAR fans,” said Roger Krone, Leidos Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “We share a passion for engineering breakthroughs with Roush Fenway Racing, which makes this a natural fit for our organization.

The Leidos Ford Mustang makes its debut Oct. 1 at the “Monster Mile” of Dover International Speedway, where Wallace finished second in the Spring and has led a career-high 52 laps.
