Armstrong at Dover International Speedway:
Dakoda will be making his sixth career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Dover International Speedway to go along with two prior starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Armstrong has a best XFINITY Series finish of 14th at the track known as The Monster Mile which came during the 2015 season.

Dakoda finished 21st in the race earlier this season at Dover International Speedway.

Dakoda’s Thoughts on Dover International Speedway:
“Dover is a really fast track.  Drivers use the word “landing” a lot at Dover because when you drive down into the corner the car gets a light feeling and then it hits max load all at once so it is crucial to be good on entry into the corner.  Then you have to be good through the long corners which makes it a tough track to get a grip on.”

“We didn’t have the run we wanted in the race earlier this year at Dover.  I think as a team we are in a much better situation now and I look forward to going back to Dover this weekend.”

Kentucky Rewind:
The NASCAR XFINITY Series rolled into Kentucky Speedway for the first race of its inaugural Chase format.  In a race featuring a record number of cautions for the series at the 1-.5-mile track, Dakoda Armstrong and his No. 28 WinField Toyota team managed to secure an 18th place finish in the running of the VisitMyrtleBeach.com 300 at the Sparta, Kentucky track.

2016 Stats:
Starts:   27
Avg. Starting Position:   21.2
Avg. Finishing Position: 19.2
Best Finish:   5th (Iowa – July)
Points Standing:   14th
