PREECE NEWCOMER AT KANSAS

KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Saturday’s Kansas Lottery 300 Xfinity Series race will mark Ryan Preece’s debut race at Kansas Speedway.

In a rookie season in which Preece has raced at many tracks for the first time, Kansas presents the latest challenge.

“We’re ready to go,” Preece said. “Although I haven’t raced at Kansas, I’ve been on very similar tracks, and I think I have a good feel for what it’s going to be like. After a few laps in practice, we should have a pretty good idea how we want the car to be set up. It should be a good weekend.”

Preece is 17th in Xfinity driver points.

Kansas practice is scheduled at 2:30 and 4:35 p.m. (ET) Friday. Qualifying is set for noon Saturday, with the race to follow at 3 p.m.
