CHASTAIN READY FOR KANSAS

KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Ross Chastain is ready to roll in his third race at Kansas Speedway.

Chastain will drive the CarShield Chevrolet No. 4 in Saturday’s Kansas Lottery 300 Xfinity Series race at the track.

Chastain has driven in one Xfinity race and one Camping World Truck Series race at the 1.5-mile track.

“Kansas is a fast track and one that keeps your attention,” Chastain said. “It’s a fun track in that you can move around and find faster grooves for your car. We should have a good run for the CarShield folks this week.”

Chastain sits 16th in Xfinity driver points entering the race. After Kansas, only three races – at Texas, Phoenix and Homestead, Fla. – remain on the schedule.

Kansas practice is scheduled at 2:30 and 4:35 p.m. (ET) Friday. Qualifying is set for noon Saturday, with the race to follow at 3 p.m.
