Spencer Boyd and 1A Auto Announce Motorsports Partnership

The Quality Auto Parts Company Selects Boyd For Multi-Race Sponsorship

Concord, NC & Westford, MA (January 17, 2019) – Spencer Boyd Racing and 1A Auto Inc. are proud to announce 1A Auto’s sponsorship of NASCAR driver, Spencer Boyd, for the 2019 NASCAR Gander Outdoors Series. 1A Auto will make its debut on the Young’s Motorsports’ No. 20 Chevrolet Silverado at the NextEra Energy 250 at Daytona on February 15, 2019.

“This is an exciting partnership that started with me researching how to change a sensor on my personal car,” states Boyd. “I found 1A Auto’s videos to be super helpful so I figured I’d start a conversation with their team and here we are. With the fleet of Silverados that Young’s Motorsports is preparing this season, I know we’ll represent the quality 1A Auto expects by running well this year.”

President of 1A Auto, Michael Green, commented on the partnership, “We know the connection between NASCAR fans and sponsors of the sport is very strong. When we got to know Spencer a little better, saw the work he has put in to get where he is today and how well aligned our values are, we knew he was a great fit. Our goal since my brother and I started this company has been to empower people to perform their own auto repairs with quality parts. We could think of no better platform than the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Series to continue to spread that message.”

The partnership will include Spencer in multiple how-to videos at 1A Auto’s research and development center, where parts are tested for quality with the company’s fleet of test vehicles. In addition to the videos and superior quality of parts, 1A Auto offers free same-day shipping and expert customer support right here in the USA.

On the heels of his first full-time season in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, the 23 year old driver announced earlier this month that he will pilot the No. 20 Chevrolet Silverado for Young’s Motorsports. Having run limited schedules in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Series in the past, Boyd is eligible and will compete for Sunoco Rookie of the Year in 2019.
