Budweiser Clydesdales to visit MIS for first time in 15 years
Special viewing party will take place on Wednesday at Irish Hills track
BROOKLYN, Mich. (August 15, 2011) – Majestic. Powerful. Graceful. They are the Budweiser Clydesdales.
For more than 75 years, the Budweiser Clydesdales have embodied the Budweiser brand heritage, serving faithfully as ambassadors of the Great American Lager, and icons of American industry.
With their tremendous brand appeal to race fans, Budweiser is offering a special, once-in-a-lifetime chance to view the Clydesdales up-close-and-personal with a free viewing party on Wednesday at Michigan International Speedway.
It will be the first time the Budweiser Clydesdales have visited MIS and the Irish Hills area in more than 15 years.
The Clydesdales will be on display in Lot A, on the north side of the track just off Brooklyn Highway. Gates will open at 5 p.m. for the viewing.
Free parking for guests will be available in Lot 3, also just off Brooklyn Highway.
“What an opportunity for fans to see the iconic Budweiser Clydesdales first hand,” MIS President Roger Curtis said. “The Clydesdales are what the Budweiser brand is all about and we’re very excited to host them here at the track. They are truly magnificent animals.”
Nestled in the lush Irish Hills of Southeastern Michigan, Michigan International Speedway is the Great Escape, a venerable NASCAR national park where fans can get away and enjoy the very best in racing and camaraderie. It’s the love of racing and the thrill of a great time for race fans and drivers alike.
