Kyle Busch Holds Off Elliott in Berlin’s Rowdy 251; Event the First Under New ARCA, CRA Agreement

(MARNE, Mich. – June 20, 2012) – NASCAR star Kyle Busch passed for the lead on Lap 212 and held off a late charge from ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards competitor Chase Elliott to win the Rowdy 251 at Berlin Raceway, one of the highlights of the first season of ARCA CRA Super Series racing under the new agreement between the sanctions.

Busch’s win was his third in four years at the event which features his nickname, and his first in an ARCA division since winning in the 2004 ARCA Racing Series opener at Daytona, his last ARCA start. Busch also won in the ARCA Racing Series twice in 2003.

Elliott, who will next compete with the ARCA Racing Series July 1 at New Jersey Motorsports Park’s Thunderbolt Raceway, finished ahead of two-time ARCA CRA Super Series champion Johnny VanDoorn, Tom Thomas, and Ross Kenseth.
