Wright Targets Season-Ending Success With MHR at Homestead

Sunshine State Strategy… Kris Wright and the F.N.B. Corporation / A Mother’s Touch Movers team head to sunny Homestead, Fla., for the 2026 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) Championship. The No. 81 team for McAnally-Hilgemann Racing (MHR) is coming off a 21st-place finish last Friday at Martinsville Speedway. Moving from the half-mile oval, NASCAR returns to Homestead-Miami Speedway for its season finale for the first time since 2019. To find speed at the 1.5-mile oval, drivers will need to run against the outside wall as the MHR fleet looks to showcase its strengths one final time this season.

Teal Takeover… Wright and the team will debut a new sponsor aboard their Chevrolet Silverado RST for the NCTS’ third and final race in Florida in 2026. In addition to F.N.B. Corporation, A Mother’s Touch Movers will take over the No. 81 machine. The company’s teal-blue colors match the South Florida palette. Wright’s paint scheme this weekend will be the 10th he has run across the 25-race NCTS schedule. Wright aims to deliver a strong result for the Florida-based company in the 201-mile event.

Season to Date… Heading into the season finale, Wright has earned six top-20 finishes across three road courses, two one-mile tracks, and one 1.5-mile track. The Pittsburgh, Pa., native’s best finish of the season was a 13th-place result at Naval Base Coronado. In his most recent race in Florida, Wright finished 19th at the Streets of St. Petersburg. As he makes his third career start at Homestead, Wright looks to improve on his best 1.5-mile finish of the season, an 18th-place result at EchoPark Speedway in February.

Tune In… Coverage from Homestead, Fla. begins Thursday with practice on the NASCAR Channel at 6:30 p.m. ET, followed by qualifying on Friday at 2:30 p.m. ET on Fox Sports 2. Live coverage of the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Championship will air Friday night on FOX Sports 1 at 7:30 p.m. ET. Stay connected with the No. 81 F.N.B. Corporation / A Mother’s Touch Movers team by following @BMR_NASCAR on X, @bmr_nascar on Instagram and Bill McAnally Racing on Facebook.

Kris Wright Quote:

“Homestead is one of the best ovals on our schedule, and intermediate tracks are my favorite. There’s no better place to be right now in November than South Florida. I’m excited to welcome A Mother’s Touch Movers on board this weekend, and I really want to bring home a good finish in our last race of the season. I’d also like to thank F.N.B. Corporation, iHeartRadio, Warranty Solutions, America’s Auto Auction, and everyone else who’s helped put this season together. Without them and Bill McAnally, I wouldn’t be completing my first full-time season this year.”
