Jeffrey Earnhardt Indy 250 Press Release

Indianapolis, IN (July 27, 2012) – Jeffrey Earnhardt received a lot of attention from his last NASCAR Nationwide race in Daytona earlier this month and everyone involved wanted more. Jeffrey will be driving the #39 FW1 Fastwax.com – Uponor Chevrolet during this Saturdays Indy 250 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

“We had a good run going in Daytona and the sponsors asked us if we could run a few more races this season. The team did a good job on short notice and we get a chance to run in the first Nationwide race at Indy” said Earnhardt.

Fastwax.com has been with the 4th generation Earnhardt driver since his NASCAR debut and new sponsor Uponor received immediate positive feedback from their partnership with Jeffrey. “Our customers were thrilled to see Uponor on Jeffrey’s Daytona car so we decided to have a larger presence for Indy and build on the excitement” said Regional Sales Manager Sonny Edwards.

The track has a lot of history and Earnhardt is excited to be racing in the inaugural Nationwide race. “It’s always good to be part of something special like this and we’re glad to support our sponsors and hopefully give the fans something to cheer about.” Race starts at 4pm ET and will be televised on ESPN, July 28th 2012.
