“505 Southwestern Chili joins for this weekend, still looking for title sponsor”
(MOORESVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA) November 6, 2012 – With just two races remaining in the 2012 NASCAR Nationwide Series season, Jason Bowles and his MacDonald Motorsports No. 81 team will remain out west following Texas for the Great Clips 200 at Phoenix International Raceway. New partner, 505 Southwestern Chili Sauces joins Bowles and the team for this weekend’s race.
Jason on Phoenix…..“We really are in need of a strong run this weekend and I think going to Phoenix may be the perfect place for us,” explained Bowles. “I’ve had success there in the past winning a NASCAR K&N West Series race a few years back, and we were quick there in the spring race. It’s great to have another new partner on the #81 this weekend too with 505 Southwestern Chili Sauces. I hope we can put on a good show for them. Their products are awesome; I really enjoyed the salsa they sent over.”

Former Phoenix Winner…..In 2009, Jason scored one of the biggest wins of his career at Phoenix International Raceway, winning the Jimmie Johnson 150 NASCAR K&N West Series race. After starting 4th, Bowles took the lead on lap four and lead a race high 86 laps on his way to the $15,000 victory. The win was the first of three in 2009 on his way to the NASCAR K&N West Series Championship.
Earlier this season at Phoenix…..In March, Jason wheeled the MacDonald Motorsports No. 81 car to an 18th place starting position, advancing forward to 13th early in the race. After struggling with a tight condition for most of the day, the team got the car turning better for the final stages of the race. Bowles was able to turn some of his fastest laps of the race near the end and advance into the top-20, earning a 19th place finish.
Still looking for partners for this weekend…..Jason and the team are still searching for a title sponsor for this weekend’s race in Phoenix. After running the first 23 races with American Majority on the racecar, the team has had many different looks over the past 8 races. Thrush & Son Complete Home Improvement, The Support Military Foundation, the Undaunted Movie, and Random Acts have all been on board for at least one race. If you would like to grow your company’s exposure and be on a NASCAR Nationwide Series car, give us a call! It’s not as expensive as you might think!
Watch the race…..Fans can catch the Great Clips 200 from Phoenix International Raceway this Saturday at 3:30PM ET. The race can be seen live on ESPN.
