* This Week’s Florida Lottery Toyota… Alex Bowman will pilot RAB Racing chassis No. 038 in the DRIVE4COPD 300 at Daytona International Speedway. This chassis last saw action when Kenny Wallace drove this Toyota Camry to a ninth-place finish at Talladega Superspeedway in 2012’s Aaron’s 312.
* New Colors …RAB Racing welcomes the Florida Lottery as a new marketing partner this weekend at Daytona International Speedway.The Florida Lottery reinvests nearly 98 percent of its revenue into the state’s economy through prize payouts, contributions to education, and money paid to Florida retailers. * Daytona Debut… Though this will be Bowman’s first ever Nationwide Series start at Daytona International Speedway, he has raced here before in ARCA Racing Series competition. In 2012’s running of the Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200, Bowman ran up front for the majority of the day before a fuel gamble saw him finish 30th.
* RAB Racing at Daytona… In eight NASCAR Nationwide Series starts at Daytona International Speedway, RAB Racing entries have earned one top-10 finish and have completed 831 of the 885 (93.9 percent) laps contested in those events. Additionally, in four ARCA RE/MAX Series starts at Daytona, RAB Racing has earned one top-five finish.
* Chris Rice at Daytona… In 10 NASCAR Nationwide Series starts at Daytona International Speedway, Rice boasts a nearly perfect lap completion record, 1001 of 1008 laps (99.4 percent). Additionally, in two Camping World Truck Series starts at the famed superspeedway, Rice has notched one top-five finish.
* Catch the Action … The DRIVE4COPD 300 from Daytona International Speedway will be televised live Saturday, Feb. 23 beginning at 1 p.m. EST on ESPN and broadcast live on the Motor Racing Network. NASCAR Nationwide Series qualifying will be televised live Friday, Feb. 22 beginning at 3:30 p.m. EST on ESPN 2.
