ISC rolls out apps for Phoenix, ACS, Darlington and Martinsville speedways

accesso Completes Mobile App Rollout for All International Speedway Corporation Major Motorsports Facilities
Phoenix International Raceway, Martinsville Speedway, Darlington Raceway and Auto Club Speedway Unveil New Apps

ORLANDO, Fla. (25-Februrary-2013) – accesso, a leading provider of mobile solutions to the leisure industry, today announced it has completed the mobile app roll-out for all 13 premier motorsports entertainment facilities operated by the International Speedway Corporation (ISC).  Phoenix International Raceway in Arizona; Auto Club Speedway of Southern California near Los Angeles, Darlington Raceway in South Carolina, and Martinsville Speedway in Virginia recently unveiled apps developed by the Lake Mary, Fla.-based mobile technology firm in time for their NASCAR’s 2013 Sprint Cup Series events.

The app for each motorsports facility, available for download on both iPhone and Android devices, includes parking, traffic and shuttle information; GPS enabled maps; and a “friend finder” which allows fans to keep track of friends around the speedway.  The apps also feature a customizable schedule of all the race weekend events including driver appearances; direct feeds from each motorsports facility’s Twitter and Facebook pages; and links to guest services, track news and more.

“Since the overwhelmingly positive response from Daytona International Speedway’s application two years ago, we’ve continued to invest in the platform that now allows race fans at all of our motorsports facilities across the country to interact and engage with our tracks both during race week and all year round,” said Tina Martin, ISC Chief Information Officer.

“Fan interaction has always been a critical element for race organizers and our platform helps companies like ISC to connect with their fans year round,” said Steve Brown, President and Chief Operating Officer of Lo-Q, the parent company for the accesso brand.  “The beauty of this particular platform is that it leverages a client-controlled content management system, which gives each speedway control of the presentation, style and organization of content, allowing them to customize the app for their specific location.”

accesso provides mobile apps for all 13 ISC premier motorsports entertainment facilities,, including: Daytona International Speedway in Florida; Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama; Michigan International Speedway located outside Detroit; Richmond International Raceway in Virginia; Auto Club Speedway of Southern California near Los Angeles; Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas; Phoenix International Raceway in Arizona; Chicagoland Speedway and Route 66 Raceway near Chicago, Illinois; Homestead-Miami Speedway in Florida; Martinsville Speedway in Virginia; Darlington Raceway in South Carolina; and Watkins Glen International in New York.
