LG SEEDS CONTINUES PARTNERSHIP WITH MB MOTORSPORTS: MB Motorsports heads to Kansas Speedway with partner LG SEEDS as they guide young Justin Jennings into the next phase of his career as he makes his first start on an intermediate, mile and a half, track in the LG Seeds / Mittler Brothers Machine & Tool Chevy Silverado.
Jennings, a native of LaGrange, MO, made two starts at Iowa Speedway with MB Motorsports in 2012. “I am excited to graduate up to the mile and a half tracks with Mike Mittler mentoring me and LG SEEDS continuing to support me. We did pretty well in the two races we ran together last year, improving on our performance the second time out. Hopefully, we can continue to improve our performance as we move on to the bigger tracks.”
Headquartered in Elmwood, IL, LG SEEDS is a brand of AgReliant Genetics, LLC, the fourth largest corn seed company in the USA. LG SEEDS offers corn, soybean and alfalfa seed to farmers throughout the Corn Belt.
“Justin’s a really good kid,” says Mittler. “He graduated from the Nascar Technical Institute and knows a race car from bumper to bumper. Because he helps build what he drives, he’s pretty conscientious about taking care of the truck. That’s earned him the respect of the crew and his on track performance will earn him the respect of the other drivers. I’m looking forward to a good weekend for Justin, LG SEEDS and the MB Motorsports team.”
Mittler will be calling the shots from atop the pit box, as crew chief Randy Dean didn’t make the trip to Kansas due to being ill. The team wishes him well and hopes to see him at the shop soon.

MITTLER’S THOUGHTS ON KANSAS SPEEDWAY: “Kansas has always been a good track for us. We’re happy that some of the folks from LG SEEDS will be joining us as we continue our partnership into 2013. Based on our past success at Kansas and the talent Justin has shown us, I have high hopes for our team in the SFP 250.
JUSTIN JENNINGS’ THOUGHTS ON KANSAS SPEEDWAY:
“Moving up to the mile and a half tracks is a big step up for me. While I think our two trips to Iowa last year helped prepare us for this weekend, it’s still a whole new world when you move from the short tracks to the intermediate tracks. I realize that this is a learning experience for me. I just want to run well, get LG SEEDS exposure for all their support and be there at the end of the race with the truck in one piece. That’s not too much to ask, is it?”
