Charlotte, NC (September 30, 2013) – Kansas Speedway is a track of several firsts for Hal Martin. This track is where Martin made his first start as a NASCAR Nationwide Series driver at the Kansas Lottery 300 in 2012. This year’s race will have a first of it’s own. Hal Martin and the crew of the TriStar Motorsports No.44 ORACLE Lighting team are making final preparations for introducing their new sponsor, ORACLE Lighting, to the world of NASCAR. This will be ORACLE Lighting’s first time as primary sponsor of a race car in NASCAR.

Hal Martin on Kansas Speedway
How are you preparing yourself for this upcoming race?
“To prepare myself for this race, I’m looking back on my race last year in Kansas and the excitement of sitting behind the wheel in my first NASCAR Nationwide Series race. I’m excited to be taking chassis 112, the car I raced in Kansas last year, back to the track.” Hal added “From a technical standpoint, I’m considering how track conditions may have changed from last year to this year.” Martin explained “Last year, the track was newly paved and had a lot of grip. Since then, it’s had a whole year to weather and will hopefully be a little less edgy.”

Based out of my home state of Louisiana, ORACLE Lighting features a huge line of LED products for home, commercial, automotive, and marine applications. They are most known for their aftermarket automotive headlights, Halo Headlights. This will be their first time in NASCAR and I’m excited to introduce them to the sport.”

I’ve never been to the SEMA show but I’m excited for the opportunity to represent a company with a unique product at a premier trade event. I’m really looking forward to it!”

Do you have any appearances scheduled this week?
“I’ll be in the Toyota Pit Pass area on Saturday, October 5th at 10 a.m. to sign autographs and chat with fans. Toyota sets up a really interactive area that is tons of fun for both drivers and fans. If you’re in Kansas, stop in and see me!” Martin replied.
