Statements Regarding Trevor Bayne MS Diagnosis

Following are statements on Trevor Bayne’s announcement today from Wood Brothers Racing, Ford Customer Service Division and Ford Racing:

EDDIE WOOD, Co-owner, Wood Brothers Racing: “Trevor has become like family to us, and the important thing right now is for him to focus on what’s best for him. We know he has a strong support system behind him. As for right now, we’ll continue to concentrate on our team and the race ahead at Homestead.”

MARY LOU QUESNELL, Marketing Director, Ford Customer Service Division (Motorcraft/Quick Lane)  “We appreciate how up-front Trevor has been with us about what essentially is a personal matter. We have full faith in Trevor following the recommendations of his medical team. As fans of Trevor, we are excited that his diagnosis will not keep him off the race track.”

JAMIE ALLISON, Director, Ford Racing:  “We support Trevor and his decision to come forward with this news about his health.  Our first priority with Trevor is his well-being. We look forward to him winning a Nationwide Series championship with Ford next year.”
