Earnhardt Victory Earns Fans $88 Special At Martinsville Speedway

MARTINSVILLE, Va. (February 24, 2014) – Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s big win Sunday evening means a big payoff for anyone who wants to purchase tickets for the STP 500 at Martinsville Speedway on March 30.Earnhardt put his No. 88 into victory lane at Daytona International Speedway and that same number is the key to a day of fun and excitement at Martinsville Speedway. For $88 fans can get two tickets to the STP 500 and two Pre-Race Track Passes.“Dale Jr. drove an amazing race Sunday and we wanted to help his fans celebrate his victory in some way,” said Martinsville Speedway President Clay Campbell. “And who knows, maybe his fans will get to see him get a win here at Martinsville. He has always run well here.”

Although he hasn’t visited Martinsville Speedway’s victory lane, he knocked on the door a few times. In 28 career Martinsville starts, Earnhardt has 10 top-five finishes and 15 top-10 finishes. He’s finished second twice and third three times.

The tickets for the Dale Earnhardt Jr. Special are for seats in the Bill France Tower which overlooks the third and fourth turns at Martinsville Speedway and offers an awesome view of the cars roaring down the backstretch and into the third turn and speeding off of the fourth turn toward the start-finish line.

The pre-race track pass allows fans to walk along the front stretch of the historic half-mile track from 9:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. on race morning. Fans are close enough to the pits that they can get a good look at what happens there on race morning and they can even autograph the start-finish line.

The Dale Earnhardt Jr. Special can be purchased by calling 1.877.RACE.TIX or online at www.martinsvillespeedway.com. It is a limited offer and ends on March 1.
