Hermie Sadler, No. 19 VA Lottery Camry Pre-Race Report Bristol Motor Speedway

Hermie Sadler Ready for Short Track Racing in his 2014 Debut: Hermie Sadler is taking off his reporting hat and putting on his VA Lottery helmet this weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway. This will be Sadler’s first time behind the wheel of a Nationwide Series car since 2010. With 16 starts at the “Fastest Half-Mile”, Sadler has an average starting position of 19.5 and an average finishing position of 20.1. The Virginia native will pilot the No. 19 VA Lottery Camry this weekend at BMS and again at Richmond International Raceway in two weeks.

Sadler’s thoughts on Bristol Motor Speedway: “I am thankful to my friends at The Virginia Lottery and to Mark Smith and his staff at TriStar Motorsports for making this happen,” exclaimed Sadler. “Getting to race again on two of my favorite tracks, as well as promote some once in a lifetime opportunities from the Virginia Lottery, is exciting for me.”

 

No. 19 VA Lottery Camry: Crew Chief Eddie Pardue and the No. 19 crew will unload chassis No.11 for Fridaynight’s race. This chassis’ last run was at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

Additional Notes:

      –      The Food City 250 will mark Sadler’s 1st NNS start of 2014 and his 260th career start in the
              NASCAR Nationwide Series.

–       Sadler will be pulling double duty this weekend as a driver and a Fox Sports 1 Analyst.

–       Sadler will be at the VA Lottery booth with the No. 19 VA Lottery show car on Thursday, August

        21st at Food City Race Night on State Street.

–      Sadler will be at the Bristol Quaker Steak & Lube location on August 21st at 8PM

      –      Sadler will be at the Black Wolf Harley Davidson on August 23rd at 9AM
