TriStar Motorsports Post-Race Report DAV 200 at Phoenix International Raceway

Below are the Post-Race results for TriStar Motorsports for the DAV 200:

 

Mike Bliss Finishes 16th: Driving the No. 19 Number 5 Specialty Coating Camry, Mike Bliss qualified 20th forSaturday afternoons race. 20 laps into the DAV 200, Bliss was running 18th and reporting that his Camry was free but tight into turn four. When a caution came out, the No. 19 Camry came to pit road for adjustments due to the car being tight in the middle and loose off. After taking four tires, fuel and a wedge adjustment with 111 laps to go, Bliss restarted 17th. While running 18th, the No. 19 Camry was tight in the center and with 47 laps to go he was maintaining his 18th position. After receiving the Lucky Dog three times, Bliss brought home a 16th place finish.

 

Blake Koch Finishes 18th: Blake Koch qualified 26th for the DAV 200 in the No. 44 Ingersoll Rand Camry. Early into the race, Koch reported that his Camry was too free to run the high line while running 24th. When the first caution came out, Koch pitted for four tires, fuel and a track bar adjustment. On lap 75, Koch was running 24th and reported that his entry felt good. Under the next pit stop, he brought the No. 44 Ingersoll Rand to pit road for four tires, fuel and an air pressure adjustment. With 71 laps to go, Koch was scored in the 23rd position and reporting his Camry was tight off. Running 20th with 15 laps to go, Koch would advance two positions to finish the DAV 200 18th.

 

Eric McClure Finishes 26th: Eric McClure and the No, 14 Hefty®/Reynolds Wrap® Camry qualified 35th forSaturday afternoon’s race. Early into the run, McClure was reporting that his Camry had no front grip and the rear of the car is free. McClure pitted for tires, fuel and adjustments to help with the front grip. When the next caution flag waved, the No. 14 Camry was better in the center, but tight in the exit. Running 28th at lap 100, McClure reported that the front tires were chattering through his entire run. With 23 laps to go, McClure was scored in the 25th position and would finish the DAV 200 26th.

 

Next Race: The NASCAR Nationwide Series heads to Homestead Miami Speedwayon November 15th for the final NNS race of 2014.
