MAKE #50 ATLANTA RACE PREVIEW

Cody Ware has high hopes for Atlanta

A New Track…The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) returns to the track this weekend in Hampton, Georgia for the Hyundai Construction Equipment 200. Cody Ware will make his 1st NCWTS start at the Atlanta Motor Speedway.

This Week’s Silverado…The #50 Burnie and BUBBA Burger team will unload a chassis named “Maxwell” as all of MAKE’s Chassis are named after pigs. Maxwell was last on track at Homestead-Miami Speedway with MAKE.

Burnie and Bubba… Burnie Grills is the new all wood, self-burning grill; will be the primary sponsor on the No. 50 Chevrolet Silverado this season. Since Burnie officially launched in January 2015, its sponsorship with MAKE Motorsports marks the first opportunity to strategically partner with a like-minded organization to reach camping enthusiasts. Burnie is the perfect partner with MAKE’s other sponsor, BUBBA Burger, a natural choice for quality and convenience, using only the highest quality ingredients to produce our uniquely shaped, gluten free BUBBA burgers. These two will be shown together as the perfect grilling and tailgating combo using the hastag #BurnieandBubba.

Extra Support…The #50 Chevrolet Silverado will sport Lilly Trucking of Virginia’s logo. Lilly Trucking of Virginia, Inc. specializes in reliable transportation of fine machinery and machinery parts for the Paper Industry.

Joining In… Elite Holdings is back with the team from 2014 along with WIX Filters. New for 2015 associates is AKL Insurance.

Watch and Listen…The Hyundai Construction Equipment 200 can be seen live on Saturday, February 28th on FOX Sports 1. Race coverage will begin at 5 p.m. EDT, and the event can also be heard live on MRN Radio as well as SiriusXM Radio, channel 90.

Previous Race Recap…The #50 team rounded out final practice in the sixth position and was very hopeful for qualifying. Cody was in the first qualifying group of the first round. This was a tough spot as very few other trucks in that group drafted forcing the #50 to barely miss the show.

Cody Ware on Racing at Atlanta Motor Speedway:

“Heading to Atlanta Motor Speedway this weekend is exciting in more ways than one. Along with making my first trip to this extremely fast racetrack, I will be pulling double duty for the first time in my career. I feel that each series will help me benefit in the other, and help make the learning curve less steep this weekend. My goal is just to learn all that I can and take in everything.”
