Timmy Hill will be driving the No. 2 Ford F-150 entry for Team Reaume for the entire 2027 NASCAR FedEx Freight Truck Series season.
The news comes nearly a week after the 33-year-old Hill from Port Tobacco, Maryland, competed in his final event as an owner/driver of his own organization, Hill Motorsports, in the Truck Series division. During this past weekend’s festivities at Martinsville Speedway, Hill mentioned that he will be stepping back from being a team owner to focus more towards his driving/racing career. With the closure of his time as a driver/owner this past weekend, he now prepares to commence a new chapter to his racing career with Team Reaume in 2027.
“I’m excited to take this next step and race full-time with Team Reaume in 2027,” Hill said. “I’ve watched Reaume’s program grow, and I believe they have all the tools to compete with the larger team’s week in and week out. I’m excited to bring my veteran experience and help push this team forward.”
Hill, the 2011 O’Reilly Auto Parts Series’ Rookie-of-the-Year recipient and the 2009 Allison Legacy Series champion, made his first Truck career start at Talladega Superspeedway in October 2013. Since then, he has made a total of 132 series starts over a 12-year span. Throughout his starts, he achieved a career-best fifth-place result at Martinsville in October 2019, a total of 10 top-10 results, 20 laps led and an average-finishing result of 21.1. To date, his lone full-time season in the Truck circuit is 2022, where he notched an average-finishing result of 21.4 before he finished in 20th place in the standings. In addition to his Truck starts, Hill has also made 243 starts in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series and 146 in the Cup Series.
In 2019, Timmy Hill and his younger brother, Tyler, founded Hill Motorsports that competed in the Truck Series division over an eight-year span. As a driver/owner, Timmy recorded a single top-five result and eight top-10 results while Tyler notched a career-best runner-up result at Talladega in October 2021. This season, Timmy holds an average-finishing result of 25.8 through 13 Truck starts, with the latter’s best result being a 14th-place run at Darlington Raceway in mid-March.
Team Reaume, which debuted in the Truck Series division in 2018, is campaigning in its ninth consecutive year in the series. The organization fields three full-time entries (Nos. 2, 22 and 33) that have been piloted by multiple competitors and the No. 23 entry for a single event with Jackson Lee throughout the 2026 season. To date, Team Reaume’s entries have notched a combined six top-10 results over a nine-year span and a highest-finishing result of fourth place made by Mike Marlar at Eldora Speedway in August 2019.
Team Reaume’s No. 2 Ford F-150 entry was piloted by 10 competitors (Jason White, Clayton Green, Carter Fartuch, Luke Baldwin, Jackson Lee, Morgen Baird, Jackson Macenko, Dystany Spurlock, Stephen Mallozzi and Monty Tipton) through 24 of 25-scheduled events this season. Josh Reaume, Team Reaume’s owner, will pilot the entry for this Friday’s season-finale event at Homestead-Miami Speedway to cap off the 2026 season before he hands the steering wheel to Hill.

“Timmy and I go back to 2014, when we first raced together as teammates,” Josh Reaume said. “Over the past few years, our friendship has grown in a way I never expected. We’ve both run our own teams, and we’ve leaned on each other through the same challenges that come with being an owner in this sport. I’m honored that the Hill family recognizes the growth of this team and trusts that we’re better working together, and I’m proud to welcome Timmy to Team Reaume for 2027.”
“We’re putting all our chips on the table for 2027,” Amir Alexander, Team Reaume’s team principal, added. “Our goal is to take this program’s performance to the next level, and adding Timmy is a big step toward that. He’s one of the most experienced drivers in the series, and the knowledge he brings, both on the track and as a former team owner, will make every truck in our program better.”
Team Reaume’s full driver lineup and partners for the 2027 season remains to be determined.
With his plans for next season set, Timmy Hill’s campaign with Team Reaume for the 2027 NASCAR FedEx Freight Truck Series season is scheduled to commence at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida, on February 19, 2027. The event will air on FOX Sports, NASCAR Racing Network and SiriusXM.
