Two-Time NASCAR Truck Series Champ Todd Bodine is Coming to Toronto’s Motorama Show

Will appear Saturday & Sunday to sign autographs and meet fans

TORONTO, ON // FEBRUARY 25, 2015 • Continuing the long tradition of NASCAR stars who have come to Toronto to meet the fans and be part of Canada’s biggest indoor racing show, two-time NASCAR Truck Series champion Todd Bodine will appear at this year’s inaugural Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo.

Known as ‘The Onion,’ Bodine is a member of NASCAR’s legendary Bodine racing clan. Originally from Chemung, New York, and now residing in North Carolina, Bodine will appear at Motorama on Saturday and Sunday, March 14 & 15, to meet fans, sign autographs and participate in several events and presentations during the show.

The inaugural Motorama show takes place March 13, 14 & 15 at Toronto’s International Centre, across from Pearson International Airport.

“I’m looking forward to coming to Motorama to meet the fans, sign autographs and take part in the show,” said Bodine. “I raced at Ontario’s Cayuga Speedway way back, so I’m sure I’ll run into some familiar faces at the show.”

After achieving success racing in the northeast, Bodine made the jump to NASCAR’s second-tier Xfinity Series, in 1986. In the years since, he made almost 800 career total starts in NASCAR’s three elite touring series; NASCAR Sprint Cup, the Xfinity Series and the Camping World Truck Series. During his career, Bodine went to victory lane 37 times in Xfinity and Truck Series competition, and twice won the Truck Series points championship, in 2006 and 2010.

Currently, Todd Bodine is putting his experience, knowledge and colourful personality to good use, working as an analyst on the NASCAR Truck Series shows NCWTS Setupand NASCAR Race Hub, on Fox Sports.

ABOUT TODD BODINE: Originally from Chemung, NY, Todd Bodine was born and raised into a racing family. His parents owned the asphalt track Chemung Speedway, near Elmira, NY. A two-time champion of NASCAR’s Camping World Truck Series, Bodine made almost 800 combined career starts on the NASCAR Sprint Cup, Xfinity Series and Camping World Truck Series.
