Previous Race Recap…The No. 50 team started the Atlanta Motor Speedway race from 23rd. Running solidly in the top 15-20th positions, Cody Ware had his right rear tire delaminate while going into turn 1 which in turn sent him nose first into the wall. Cody was unhurt but the truck’s damages were to severe to continue.

Cody Ware on Racing at Martinsville Speedway:

“Going to Martinsville Speedway this weekend is going to bring about a whole different mindset for me. Coming to a short track in a truck for the first time has unique set of challenges, one of which is learning to be aggressive and smart at the same time. There is no room for error, if you do screw up anyone and everyone will capitalize on it. I feel like with a strong effort at the track we will thrive in this environment, I grew up racing short tracks such as Bowman Gray and Caraway Speedway, so hopefully we will be able to give BUBBA Burger, Burnie Grills, and Lilly Trucking a good showing this weekend”
