RHODES READY FOR CHARLOTTE

CONCORD, N.C. – Harrison Rhodes will run his debut race with new sponsor Vecoplan in Saturday’s Hisense 300 Xfinity Series event at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Vecoplan is the world-wide leader in industrial shredding technologies. It will sponsor Rhodes’ No. 0 JD Motorsports with Gary Keller Chevrolet.

“We’re thrilled to have the folks at Vecoplan on board with us this week,” Rhodes said. “It’s going to be a big week at Charlotte, and we’re looking to have our best run of the year. It’s a track I enjoy driving.”

Rhodes sits 24th in Xfinity Series points entering Saturday’s race. He has raced in one previous Xfinity event at CMS.

This week’s unusual schedule will have Xfinity drivers practicing at 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. (ET) Thursday. The track is closed Friday, and the Hisense 300 is scheduled at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, following qualifying at 11:15 a.m.
