ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS STOP RHODES AT KENTUCKY

SPARTA, Ky. – Electrical problems forced Harrison Rhodes to the garage after only 90 laps of Friday night’s Kentucky 300, and he finished 35th in the Kentucky Speedway race.

Rhodes had spun a good qualifying lap and started the race in 25th. But the electrical issues appeared before the race’s halfway point.

“A tough night for us,” Rhodes said. “I thought the car was in pretty good shape, but you can’t predict these kinds of issues.

We’ll move on to Loudon and do well there.”

Brad Keselowski won the race. Chris Buescher finished 11th and padded his series point lead to 36th.

The series moves on to Loudon, N.H. and New Hampshire Motor Speedway for a July 18 race.
