Peck Making Xfinity Series Debut

Piloting No. 15 Chevrolet for Rick Ware Racing

GLENVILLE, Penn. (July 1, 2015) – Todd Peck is making his first-career start in the NASCAR Xfinity Series this weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS). He will be piloting the No. 15 Lily Trucking/BYB Extreme Chevrolet fielded by Rick Ware Racing in Saturday’s Lake Region 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Peck has made 14 starts in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competition with one prior race under his belt at NHMS, which came in 2011.

Peck comments on racing at New Hampshire:

“I’m really excited about this weekend. To be making my first Xfinity Series start is pretty special. Needless to say, this is something I’ve always hoped for. We know that we have a steep learning curve ahead, but we’ll have Rick Ware and all of his team’s experience to give us a solid foundation to build on. I’ll have some of the crew from my truck series team there to help as well. They know me and my driving style, so they’ll have a lot of good input to help bring us up to speed. I hope to absorb as much as possible and leave this weekend and leave with a solid finish.”

Keith Wolfe, Peck Motorsports General Manager, comments on Peck’s NHMS start:

“This is a great opportunity for us. We’re looking forward to working with Rick (Ware) and all of his guys. I’ll be helping Todd and the team this weekend, too, so I’m excited to be a part of this milestone in his career. New Hampshire can be a really tricky track. It has tight corners and not a lot of banking, so it takes a lot of finesse and a driver’s touch to put together a good lap. Rhythm is definitely key to a good run. Todd’s no stranger to tracks like New Hampshire, so we’ll take what we know and build on that. We’re pumped and ready to go.”
