ISM Raceway announced today that grandstand seats are sold out for the Can-Am 500 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series semifinal playoff race on Sunday, Nov. 11. The grandstand sell-out follows the earlier sellouts of all 54 hospitality suites for the Can-Am 500 and all reserved camping for the entire weekend.
This Sunday, November 11, WWE Superstar Matt Hardy will lead the field to the green flag in the Toyota Camry Official Pace Car as the Honorary Pace Car Driver for the start of the Can-Am 500. The race will take place on the final day of ISM Raceway’s Opening Weekend celebration.

Self on Racing at Phoenix: “Even though we haven’t had the results we were hoping for in the past at Phoenix, I’m hoping we can change our luck with a strong finish on Friday night,” said Self. “It’s hard to believe that there are just two races left in the year – but I feel like they are two races that we can go out and compete well and end our year on a high note.
Huffman on Racing at Phoenix: “I’m definitely looking for a little redemption this week at Phoenix,” said Huffman. “I’m thrilled to have another chance behind the wheel of this truck, and to work with this Niece Motorsports team again. The following is a statement from Furniture Row Racing team owner Barney Visser about today’s announcement that driver Martin Truex Jr. and crew chief Cole Pearn will join Joe Gibbs Racing after the 2018 season.
“I’ve never been to Phoenix before, but I’m excited it’s a short track. I got to make some laps at Phoenix in the simulator last week and I felt like we had a good session and made quite
a few gains in the car. With the new configuration it will be a little bit different for everybody, but overall excited to get over there and see what we’ve got.”
“It’s always good to come back to a track when you’re the defending race winner. Those are great memories, and that win will always be special to me. This weekend should be interesting because of all the changes to the track. It will still drive the same, but with the new start-finish line just before the dogleg, and the new pit road configuration, it will be a little different once we get into the race. I’m looking forward to the weekend, and doing what we can to put two good races together for the 6 team and finish the season strong.”
