August 23, 2018. A fixture in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series for more than a decade, “Racin’ Jason White” is taking the next step in his racing career and will make his first ever start in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series with Reaume Brothers Racing this coming weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP) in Bowmanville, Ontario.

From a preexisting shoulder injury, Spencer Gallagher will not be in the seat of the No. 25 this weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park after reinjuring his shoulder during a Thursday workout session.

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series is off this weekend. NASCAR Xfinity Series will be at Road America and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will be at Canadian Tire. Check out the full schedule below, which is subject to change.

AJ Allmendinger and the No. 47 Kroger ClickList team are throwing it back to their roots at Darlington Raceway for NASCAR Throwback, honoring driver Robert Pressley’s 1998 car.

Chip Ganassi Racing (CGR) announced today that NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) regular Ross Chastain will make three starts behind the wheel of the No. 42 DC Solar Chevrolet Camaro SS in the NXS, beginning with Darlington Raceway, on Saturday, Sept. 1. Chastain will also compete in NXS races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (Sept. 15) and Richmond International Raceway (Sept. 21).

LeMastus on Canadian Tire Motorsports Park: "I can't wait to get out here with the Truck. These last few days have been all about learning. I'm doing everything possible to get ahead of the curve. The advantage will be the fact that come Saturday when the Trucks go on the track in the first sessions, I won't have to be out there hunting and pecking to get to know the course."

Talladega Superspeedway announced today that Wind Creek Hospitality, the principal gaming and hospitality entity for the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, will serve as the official sponsor of the traditional Saturday Night Infield Concert presented by Wind Creek Casino and Hotel, Oct. 13, during its doubleheader NASCAR Playoff weekend. The headliner for the Saturday Night Infield Concert presented by Wind Creek Casino and Hotel will be announced soon.

NASCAR announced several rules for the 2019 NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series aimed at strengthening both the competition on the race track and the identity of each series.

Dover International Speedway, which has hosted Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series races every year since 1969, has partnered with NASCAR Digital Media to upgrade and redesign DoverSpeedway.com, track officials announced today.

“I am excited to head to Canada. I am anticipating that we will do well at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. I’ve been working with Ron Fellows and a couple other people in anticipation of this weekend’s race. I’ll use those notes and simulator time, and I am excited to know when I show up this year I will be better prepared. Last year, I would over drive my corners and just never really got a good feel for the track. My focus this year will to be smoother this time around and find a good rhythm.”
