Beginning Memorial Day weekend, the NASCAR industry will honor United States Armed Forces heroes and their families as part of NASCAR Salutes Refreshed by Coca-Cola – a collective expression of reverence, respect and gratitude for those who served and continue to defend America today.

Stenhouse Jr. has 12 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) starts at Charlotte Motor Speedway with an average starting position of 20.2 and average finishing position of 19.7.

Daytona International Speedway has designed a special ticket package around Chase Elliott, driver of the No. 9 NAPA Auto Parts Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Hendrick Motorsports, for the upcoming Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series event on Saturday night, July 7 at the “World Center of Racing.”

Hooters will serve as primary sponsor for the No. 23 team at Charlotte Motor Speedway in honor of the restaurant chain’s 35th Anniversary and 22nd Annual Hooters International Pageant. The pageant will be held on Saturday, May 26 at zMAX Dragway beginning at 7 p.m. and will include a concert from country music singer-songwriter Jake Owen.

Richard Childress Racing (RCR) and Kalahari Resorts and Conventions are once again teaming up for the third straight year for the 2018 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season. Home to America's Largest Indoor Waterparks, Kalahari Resorts and Conventions will serve as the primary sponsor on Ryan Newman's No. 31 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 at Pocono Raceway on June 3. Kalahari Resorts and Conventions will also host RCR during its two NASCAR events in Pennsylvania.

Indianapolis racing driver Stephen Cox will return to C7R Motorsports and the Super Cup Stock Car Series for a third consecutive year in 2018.

KAHNE BY THE NUMBERS: In 28 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series career starts at Charlotte, Kasey Kahne has an average start of 12.5 and an average finish of 13.4. He’s completed 9,472 of 10,113 (93.7 percent) career laps, and has led for a total of 1,108 laps. Kahne has earned four wins which include three Coca-Cola 600 victories, 10 top-five and 15 top-10 finishes at the 1.5-mile track.

For the first time, Hooters is opening its 22nd Annual Hooters International Pageant to the public this spring, as part of Charlotte Motor Speedway’s Memorial Day race weekend events, including a special concert from country music singer-songwriter Jake Owen. The event on Saturday, May 26, brings fans front-and-center as celebrity judges, ranging from Chase Elliott, driver of the No. 9 Hooters Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, to Brittany Cartwright, former Hooters Girl and one of the stars of the hit series, Vanderpump Rules, crown one Hooters Girl with the title of 2018 Miss Hooters International.
